*5-Kıble, önceleri Kabe iken, hicretten sonra Yahudileri çekebilmek için onların kutsal kenti 1Kudüs'e çevrildiğini, ancak Yahudilerin bu değişiklik nedeniyle alay etmesinden dolayı, kıblenin tekrar Kabe'ye çevrildiğini.

*6-Muhammed'in babasının adı olan Abdullah'ın, Arapçada "Allahın Kulu" anlamına geldiğini. Al-lah' ın, İslam öncesi inanışta Al-Lat, Al-Uzzat ve Al-Menat adlı tanrıçaların babası olduğunu.

3- In * sura * Hud * verse * 2, * Mohammed * made * a * very * big * blunder * by * making * it * written * as * “I * am * sent * unto * you * from * Him * to * warn * and * to * bring * glad * tidings.”
*
*
* THE * VERSES * THAT * MOHAMMED * SPEAKS
*
* In * Islam, * Quran * is * known * as * utterance * of * Allah. * And * in * Islam, * Allah * conveys * his * words * to * Mohammed * by * an * angel * called * Archangel * Gabriel. * So * that * Mohammed * makes * verse * clerks * write * “god’s * * apocalypses.
*
* When * we * examine * whole * Quran, * we * see * that * the * pronouns * used * inside * are * “me” * or * “we”. * However * if * Quran * is * god’s * utterance * then * only * the * pronoun * “me” * would * be * used. * As * an * example * unlike * sentences * * “we * did….” * the * sentences * * like * “I * did…” * needed * to * be * used. * Using * the * pronoun * “us” * creates * suspicions * about * god’s * uniqueness * and * strength, * and * his * abilities * about * doing * everything. * Cause, * even * some * authorities * says * that * its * god * and * his * angels * inside * the * pronoun * “us”, * the * questions * such * as * “Wouldn’t * god * succeed * them * without * the * helping * of * his * angels” * “Why * he * needed * his * angels” * has * no * answers * and * just * like * in * many * questions, * the * answers * are * released * to” god’s * fate”. *
*
* Actually * our * main * goal * in * this * article * is * much * more * engrossing * than * what * we * say * above: * The * verses * directly * coming * out * from * Mohammed’s * mouth!
*
* 11. * Sura * Hud, * Verse * 2.
* “Ye * should * worship * none * but * Allah. * Truly * I * am * sent * unto * you * from * Him * to * warn * and * to * bring * glad * tiding
*
* It’s * clear * to * see * that * this * is * Mohammed * speaking * in * this * verse. * He * blunders * by * making * the * verse * written * from * his * own * mouth. * Some * translators * of * Quran * who * realizes * this * blunder * and * try * to * conceal * it * add * the * word * “say” * in * paranthesis * which * doesnt * exist * in * verse * originally. * In * a * translation * of * Quran * which * is * also * available * in * our * site * (it is * copied * from * an * islamic * site) * the * translation * is * like * this:
*
* (It * teached) * that * ye * should * worship * none * but * Allah. * (Say): * "Verily * I * am * (sent) * unto * you * from * Him * to * warn * and * to * bring * glad * tidings.
*
* In * translations * of * Quran * the * words * which * are * written * in * paranthesis * means * that * “Thoose * words * dont * exist * in * Quran * originally * but * we * added * them * for * you * understand * it * in * a * beter * way”.
*
* The * Sura * Fatiha * which * has * totally * seven * verses * has * the * similar * content:
*
* 1. * In * the * name * of * Allah, * Most * Gracious, * Most * Merciful. *
* 2. * Praise * be * to * Allah, * the * Cherisher * and * Sustainer * of * the * worlds; *
* 3. * Most * Gracious, * Most * Merciful; *
* 4. * Master * of * the * Day * of * Judgment. *
* 5. * Thee * do * we * worship, * and * Thine * aid * we * seek. *
* 6. * Show * us * the * straight * way, *
* 7. * The * way * of * those * on * whom * Thou * hast * bestowed * Thy * Grace, * those * whose * (portion) * is * not * wrath, * and * who * go * not * astray. *
* Again * its * clear * to * see * that * verses * are * not * from * Allah’s * speakings. * Allah * doesn’t * even * mention * in * verse * that * you * should * praye * me * in * that * or * this * way. * Its * sure * that * its * a * human * speaking * in * verse * Fatiha. * So * in * speech * in * verse * there * is * a * blunder * and * an * open * door. *
*
* The * similar * case * also * can * be * seen * in * Sura * Zahriyat’s * 50th * and * 51th * verses:
* 50. * Therefore * flee * unto * Allah: * I * am * from * Him * a * Warner * to * you, * clear * and * open! *
* 51. * And * make * not * another * an * object * of * worship * with * Allah: * I * am * from * Him * a * Warner * to * you, * clear * and * open! *
* Its * very * easy * to * understand * that * its * Mohammed * himself * speaking * in * verses * of * Quran, * not * Allah. *
* So, * isnt * there * anyone * realize * this * in * that * times? * Why * did * they * believe * in * Mohammed?
* First, * in * that * times * reading-writing * rates * were * so * little * that * there * were * very * few * people * who * are * able * to * examine * this * verses. *
* The * seckond, * the * ones * who * talk * about * this * crookedness * were * despised * and * accused * of * benig * unbeliever, * * infidel * and * blasphemous. * Also * people * like * poest * Ka’b * Bin * Esref * paid * even * only * criticizing * Mohammed * with * their * lives. * So * that * it * was * very * dangerous * to * talk * about * the * truth. *
* And * the * third, * the * adversaries * who * are * strong * in * society * are * quiten * by * bribes * in * the * name * of * “making * hearts * close * to * Islam” * (please * check * “Ones * Become * Muslim * by * Bribes” * article * of * Turan * Dursun)
* Thanks * Pantediar * for * making * a * list * of * verses * where * “God * doesnt * speak”. * –Admin

*
The *questins *from *Islamics *about *the *article *and *the *answers:
*
* Islamic: *The *Jewish *had *maden *an *agreement *with *Mohamed *about *defencing *Medina *together. *However, *they *betrayed *this *agreement *in *Battle *of *Al-Khandaq.
*
Answer: *Such *an *agreement *in *the *first *times *of *Mohammed’s *emigration *from *Medina *exists *in *writings. *However, *Muslims *was *the *minority *in *Mecca *and *they *were *in *such *a *poor *case *that *they *need *to *emigrate *to *Medina. *They *havent *been *armament *yet *ve *havent *began *gang *attacks. *The *agreement *have *been *done *under *thoose *conditions. *But *after *a *short *while, *Muslims *began *their *gang *attacks. *Tried *to *atack *trading *convoys *in *Mecca. *And *with *Baht-i *Nahle *(event), *Muslims, *for *the *first *time, *killed *2 *and *captived *1 *of * 4 *unarmed *persons. *And *asked *for *ransom *for *this *captive. *Jewishes *took *attention *to *thoose *events *of *Muslims.
*
Checking *what *hapened *between *Muslims *and *Jewishes *before *The *Qaynuqa *(event) *will *be *helpfull *for *us *to *understand *it. *Threre *were *3 *Jewish *tribes *when *Muslims *emigrated *to *Medina; *Banu *Nadir, *Banu *Quaynuqa *and *Banu *Qurayzah. *After *an *invidual *from *Banu *Quaynuqa *was *killed *by *a *Muslim, *Jewishes *killed *the *murderer. *And *using *it *as *a *pretext, *Mohammed *encircled *Banu *Quaynuqa *tribe. *Jewishes *makes *no *defens *with *guns. *And *after *a *while *Jewishes *submited. *Mohammed *sent *ayaw *this *tribe *from *thier *lands. *He *confiscated *immovables *and *properties *of *them. *He *also *got *tirbe *of *Banu *Nadir *by *attacking *with *strange *pretexts. *
*
We *mean *that *Mohammed *had *already *destroyed *two *Jewish *tribes *before *Qurayzah *(event) *(what *is *tragicomic *about *it *is *that *Mohammed *kicked *out *Jewishes, *the *real *owners *of *Medina *even *he *emigrated *there). *Following *thoose *event, *the *Agreement *of *Medina *had *no *more *validity. *
*
Mohammed *pressurized *Jewishes *of *Medina *to *become *Muslim. *And *as *he *coulnt *succed *it, *he *changed *praying *direction *from *Jerusalem *to *Mecca. *Couse *Jarusalem *was *the *sacred *city *of *Jewishes. *After *this *change, *the *agreement *between *Muslims *and *Jewishes *of *Medina *had *came *to *an *end *also *in *practice. *The *relationship *between *Muslims *who *are *visitors *and *Jewishes *was *really *tensed. *Jewishes *didint *like *Muslims *anymore *who *came *Medina *as *visitors, *saw *them *as *the *enemy, *they *were *in *a *discomfort. *
*
Jewishes *of *Medina *helped *the *ones *from *Mecca *because *of *thoose *all.
*
Islamic: *The *judgement *of *execution *of *Jewish *adult *males *was *acording *to *The *Pentateuch.
*
Answer: *This *is *an *assertion *of *Muslims *who *feel *remorse *of *the *massarce *to *put *the *blame *on *The *Pentateuch. *Mohamed *asked *about *what *to *do *with *Jewish *captives *to *Sad *Bin *Muaz *who *was *an *old *Jewish *had *became *a *Muslim *and *who *was *right *hand *of *him. *However, *it *didint *mean *that *the *judgement *will *be *acourding *to *The *Pentateuch *because *Sad *was *an *old *Jewish. *There *is *also *no *writings *that *Mohammed *wanted *him *to *judge *acording *to *The *Pentateuch *and *neither *words *of *Sad *that *“I *judgeg *it *according *to *The *Pentateuch”.
Also *Jewishes *was *rightful *for *themselves *by *supporting *adversaries. *Consequently *it *would *be *illogical *for *them *to *make *rules *of *The *Pentateuch *used *against *them *while *thinking *that *they *were *right. *
*
Moreover, *as *an *addition *of *thoose *all, *after *the *judgement *of *Sad *Bin *Muaz, *Mohammed *said *that:
*
“Hurray! *The *judgement *of *Allah *was *the *same *as *yours” *and *told *that *the *judgement *had *been *told *to *him *by *apocalypse. *Consequently *the *judgement *belongs *to *“God” *of *Islam.
*
Islamic: *What *would *be *done *with *Jewish *adult *males *instead *of *executing *them? *Because *there *were *no *captive *camps, *would *they *be *feeded *instead *of *being *killed? *If *they *were *set *free, *then *they *would *be *at *the *side *of *adversaries *again.
*
Answer: *Arent *thoose *asertions, *as *if *there *werent *any *other *choise *else *to *do *wtih *them, *actually *a *defencing *way *to *avoid *the *crime? *Couse *also *adult *males *could *be *sold *in *the *famous *captive *bazaar *of *Damascus *just *like *women *and *children. *Or *they *could *give *some *of *them *to *Muslim *families *as *slaves? *(It *doesnt *mean *that *we *approve *the *slavery, *just *trying *to *show *that *there *are *some *other *choices *instead *of *killing *them). *So *there *were *such *a *choise *for *Mohammed. *But *he *didnt *wanted *to *choose *it, *and *didnt *ack *like *a *prophet *of *“god”, *acted *just *like *many *kings *and *commanders *of *history *full *of *rancour *and *revenge. *

*
AL-ILAH *(ALLAH) *BELIEF *IN *PRE-ISLAMIC *ARABIA
*
During *the *pre-Islamic *period, *Arabs *were *believing *in *Moon *God *as *the *highest *and *most *powerful *totem *along *the *360 *totems *in *Kaaba, *calling *him *Al-ilah *(means *most *powerful *god) *and *praying *for *him *by *opening *their *hands *on *both *sides. *Below *sculptures *at *British *Museum *Babylon *Section *Part *B *in *England *are *important *discoveries *showing *this *belief *of *Arab *pagans.
*
Word *“Ilah” *(god) *in *Arabic *was *converted *to *“Allah” *with *Islam. *(Southern *Arabia, *Carleton *S. *Coon, *Washington, *D.C. *Smithsonian, *1944, *p.399) *Mood *god *Al-ilah *was *accepted *as *male *and *was *married *Sun *Goddess. *He *had *three *daughters, *their *names *were *Al-lat, *Al-Uzzat *ve *Al-Menat:
*
The *photograph *above *is *from *British *Museum *and *abstracting *pre-Islamic *Arab *beliefs *very *good. *On *the *left *there *are *the *Lat, *Uzza *and *Menat, *the *male *figure *on *the *right *is *Allah. *Mohammed *made *a *blunder *by *praising *Lat, *Uzza *and *Menat *which *is *known *as *satanic *verses *case *but *later *on *he *regretted *and *declared *Satan *made *him *to *say *that *words.
*
Many *Arab *tribes, *in *fact, *has *given *this *moon *god *different *names *such *as *Sin, *Hubal *and *Al-ilah. *Linguists *say *the *word *“Allah” *is *reproduced *from *“Al-ilah”. *(Islam *Muhammed *and *His *Religion, *Arthur *Jeffery, *1958, *p *85, *Muhammad *at *Mecca, *W. *Montgomery *Watt, *1953, *p *23-29)
*
The *name *of *Mohammed’s *father *Abdullah *means *“Slave *of *Allah”. *(abd=slave, *ullah=allah)
*
Mohammed *took *the *name *of *the *most *powerful *moon *god *along *360 *totems *in *Kaaba *and *told *everybody *as *one. *“There *is *no *god *but *only *Al-ilah.” *(The *hajj, *F. *E. *Peters, *p *3-41, *1994) *Mohammed *declared *Al-ilah *as *the *only *god *and *prohibited *other *totems.
*
Arab *pagans *(non-muslims) *had *interesting *traditions *in *pre-Islamic *period. *They *were *fastening *in *the *month *called *Ramadan, *going *to *Mekkah *for *Hadj *and *turning *around *Kaaba *seven *times, *believing *the *“Black *Stone” *(Hacerül *Esved) *as *sacred *and *kissing *it, *praying *four *or *five *times *a *day *and *throwing *stones *to *Satan. *( *Is *Allah *the *Same *God *as *The *God *of *Bible?, *M. *J. *Afshari, *p *6, *8-9, *İslam, *Beliefs *And *Observances, *Caesar *E. *Farah)
*
Above, *there *is *a *muslim *kissing *the *Hacerül *Esved *placed *on *one *corner *of *Kaaba. *Pre-Islamic *Arab *pagans *had *this *same *belief. *Mohammed *kissed *this *stone *and *carried *out *this *pagan *belief *into *Islam. *It *is *known *that *the *Caliph *Omar *had *told *about *Hacerül *Esved, *“I *would *never *kissed *if *I *hadn’t *seen *you *Rasullullah *kissing *it.” *It *is *currently *unkown *when, *where *or *how *Hacerül *Esved *was *brought, *some *stories *are *told *only. *But *there *are *no *aggrements *between *Islamists *about *those *stories.
*

*7- * * * MOHAMMED * AND * CIRCUMCISION
*
*
* The * common * belief * among * Islamists * is * that * Mohammed * was * born * innately * circumcised.Because * there * is * not * any * reliable * source * about * his * being * circumcised * belonging * to * his * childhood * and * the * period * after * claiming * his * prophethood(this * period * is * very * well-known).
*
* Scientifically,it * is * impossible * that * Mohmammed * was * circumcised * innately,because * we * cannot * talk * about * "inborn * circumcised" * in * medicine.Up * to * now * it * hasn't * been * seen * such * thing * like * this.However,there * is * a * penis * anomaly * which * is * named * hypospadias.The * appearance * of * hypospadias * seems * like * circumcised * penis * but * actually * it * is * a * medical * ailment.If * Mohammed * was * born * truly * circumcised * not * born * with * hypospadias,that * needed * to * be * seen * as * a * great * miracle * during * his * infancy * in * Mecca.Because * to * be * born * circumcised * * * *in * a * natural * way * is * an * impossible * situation.Whereas,there * is * not * such
* a * miraculous * thing * in * historical * records.The * situation * talked * about * must * be * hypospadias * seeing * that * this * infant * was * accepted * as * normal * and * did * not * encounter * a * special * care.If * Mohammed * was * born * miraculously * circumcised,doubtless * he * would * have * apostles * surrouding * him * * from * the * very * beginning * of * his * infancy.
*
* In * the * web * site * of * Tukish * Plastic * * Reconstructive * Aesthetic * Surgery * Association,the * below * information * about * hypospadias * is * given:
*
* What * is * hypospadias?
*
* It * is * a * birth * defect * seen * in * newborn * male * children.Urinary * meatus * (urethra) * in * a * normal * penis * ends * at * the * tip * of * the * glans * and * children * urinates * from * the * tip * of * penis.
*
* But * in * boys * with * hypospadias,Urinary * meatus * (urethra) * ends * at * the * surface * of * penis * and * more * backward.Urinary * meatus * does * not * come * into * existence * at * the * distance * between * the * point * of * this * ending * and * the * tip * of * penis.
*
* The * openning * point * of * urinary * meatus * may * be * more * backward * than * testicles
* and * the * more * backward * it * is,the * more * serious * it * is.But * the * majority * of * * cases * constitute *

*
* What * are * the * symptoms?
*
* 1)Urinary * meatus' * being * undersurface * of * penis * and * more * backward.

Did you know?
When Mohammed died verses of the Koran were in scattered conditions. After long years verses were collected from diverse people by an announcement of a committee and they were put in order by random. For example the verse considered revealed first and beginning with ‘‘read’’ Surah Alak placed to chapter number 96 rather than 1. Today There does not exist a single original copy of Koran, it is because of it has been burned.

First official copy of the Qur'an: it has been written on different things like skins, woods, small stones, bones . They have been all burned.
Second official copy of the Qur'an : Compilation of Quran during reign of Abu Bakr . They have been burned
Third official copy of the Qur'an: was formed during reign of Utman entitled as ’’azmalar’’. There are no official redactions on the world. (Azmaların orjinali nedir bilmiyorum)

According to investigations and narrations: Quran which dictated by the Mohammed *to ''clerks of revelation '' is neither ‘’same’’ nor ‘’entire’’ as in today’s Quran. Caliph Mervan explains his own reason like this: Things written in it passed to moshaf (codex) which had been written by Uthman. We don’t need it any more. *If it wouldn’t be burned and destroyed, it would cause some suspicions in the course of time and it wouldnt prevent suspicions of the written moshaf received from it. I was afraid of it, It’ s because of it I had to let them burn. ."(Sources: ıb Ebi Davud, Leiden 1937, yay., s.243-Suphi e's-Salih Mebahis Fi ulum-il Kuran).

How the Quran was compiled
After Muhammad’s death, form of the today’s verses of Quran (the Koranic revelations) had not been assembled and not been written in to a single form. According to Hadiths, revealed verses to Mohammad have been written on different things, also all were in scattered conditions. The verses have been written on ‘’Lihaf’’(Small stones), ‘’Rika’’(animal skin, palm risps, a kind of paper), ‘’Ektaf’’(Camel and sheep bones),’’Usub’’ (wood pieces). In case it may be lost, they needed effort to unify all for the first time as a single volume during reign of Abu Bakr and these efforts have been realised. According to a source, it explains ‘’ all those have been found together in Mohammed’s house, and while they were scattered they have been gathered tied by a rope in case some of them may be lost. According to information’s of Bukhari, the events of ‘’apostle’’(Ridde) and they were a status of battle because of these events some Qurra (those who know the Qur'an by heart) was dead. there would be more casualties among the Qurra', it would be compile and unify as a single volume of the scattered verses of Quran before these who knew Quran by heart were not dead. The son of Hattab Umar told Ebu Bakr the situation and the importance of the subject .He suggested to compile all the verses. At the beginning Caliph hadn’t found true this idea.?
He was thinking that, ‘’How could it be true to do a thing which Mohammed did not?’’ Umar kept on pressing, tryied to persuade me to accept his proposal. Zaid bin Sabit has committed to realize this suggestion. Zaid informed that, Ebu Bakr told me ‘’you are a clever boy, I trust you will succeed because of you used to write for the Prophet his instructions from above, so investigate and collect all the verses of Quran’’. I tell it by swearing God that if he recommended me to carry a mountain from the mountains, it would not be as heavy as the order he gave me to fulfill.(yada it would not be heavier upon me than the order which Abu Bakr has given for collecting the Qur'an). He says *as much as to compile Quran but he says that end of all he accepted this order *and he explains how did he this order...

Then I sought for the Qur'an, and collected it from the leaves of the date, small stones, and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last part of the chapter entitled Tauba (Repentance), with Abu Khuzaimah al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him. Zaid was explaining this part was composing the end of the verses of Tauba(128. and 129. Verses). In this way when Zaid was realising the order of to compiling the Quran he has applied two sources: Thing the verses were written (woods, stones…) and memories of the people who knew Quran by heart.

Numbers of the people who knew Quran by heart (Qurra) during Ebu Bakr reign are controversies between Moslems. According three.hadiths from this period’s resources of "e's-Sahihi" (The hadith book of İmam-ı Buhari), We understand the numbers of men who learnt Quran by heart, the most optimistic view are seven. In the same time during Mohammed’s period numbers of the Hafez, so men who learnt whole Quran by heart were very few. A Hadith from Buhari’s book (e's-Sahihi) I heard the Prophet saying, ‘Take the Quran from this 4 persons, Abdullah bin Masud, Salim, Muadh bin Jabal *and Ubai bin Ka'b". Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 61, Number 521)

Second Hadith: Anas narrates: ‘’When Mohammed was dead; except these four men there wasn’t another man who learnt Quran by heart. . Muadh Bin Jabal, Ubayy Bin Kab, Zaid Bin Sabit, Abu Zaid. (Sahih Muslim, Number 6029)

Third Hadith: Narration from Katede: I asked Malik’s son Anas, ‘’during Mohammed’s time who had memorized whole Quran by heart?’’ His answer was this: *'Four persons. All from native of Medina. Ubayy Bin Kab, Muadh Bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit and *Ebu Zayd (Buhari, same chapter, Müslim 24-5. Hadith.) When we add together things written in these Hadiths, we can say total numbers of Qurra (men who knew Quran by heart) were seven during Mohammed’s time. Abdullah bin Masud (in first Hadith), Salim (in first Hadith), Muadh Bin Jabal (in first, second and third hadith.) Ulema-i-Islam (Assembly of Islamic Clergy) pretend that explanations of these Hatidths help irreligious people. (Suyuti, El Itkan, Egypt 1978, c.1,p.98, line13) Al Itkan informs with their names, even some other men also leant Quran by heart. But the narrator explains some of these persons finished to learn Quran by heart after Mohammad’s death. (Al Itkan, 95-9.)

3 – In the 2nd verse of the Hud sura, Mohammed made a very big blunder by making it written as : “I am sent tou you from Him to to warn and to bring gladtidings”

4 – Just after the battle of Al-Khandaq, Mohammed executed 500 Jewish men and sold their wives and children in the Damascus slave bazaar since they had sided with the polytheists.

5 – Kaaba used to be the direction to face when praying but after the Higra (emigration: Mohammed’s flight from Mecca to Medina) it was changed to Jerusalem in order to attract Jewish people; and then back to Kaaba when Jews made fun of the change.

6 – Abdullah, the name of Mohammed’s father, means the “Slave of God (Allah)” in Arabic, but that Al-lah comes from pre-islamic belief as a “moon god” and father of the goddesses Al-Lat, Al-Uzzat and Al-Menat.

7 – There are no sound Islamic sources for Mohammed’s circumcision.

8 – Battle of Badr was started by Muslims attacking a polytheist trade caravan coming back home from Damascus. Thus it was Muslims, the first to start a war.

9 – When Mohammed died, verses of Quran were in an unorganized, scattered state. Long years after, verses were collected from various people following announcements made by a commitee and put in such a random order that the first revealed sura Al-alaq (which starts with “read”) is in the 96th row. Since it has been burnt, the original first copy of Quran is not found.

10 – Masjid al-Nawabi, the mosque where the tomb of Mohammed is found, have been burnt down twice, in 1256 and 1481.

11 – Kaaba, accepted by Muslims as the home of god, has been demolished at least 15 times due to floods and wars as per historical records.

12 – Mohammed could display all the codes against women after his first wife Khatija, a very authoritative one, has died. Â* Â*

13 – The bridge (al-Sirat) on the road to heaven that found a certain place in the Islamic belief, is in fact inspired from the belief on the bridge (cinvat) of the old Iranian religion Zoroastrianism, a monotheist one.

1 - ATATURK'S FUNERAL NAMAZ (prayers) and CEREMONY VIDEO Â*

Ataturk's funeral namaz (prayers) was performed in Dolmabahce Palace at 8:10AM on the 19th of November in 1938, the deceased wasn't delivered to any other mosque. The imam of the funeral prayers was Prof.Şerafeddin YALTKAYA, the president of the Religious Affairs of that term. Â*
The namaz (prayers) started with the greeting "Tanrı Uludur", in Turkish, (meaning - god is great) instead of the Arabic "Allahu Akbar" and ended with the greeting “Esenlikler Üzerinize Olsun", in Turkish, instead of "Essalaam Aleikum" in Arabic (meaning - peace be on you)
After the namaz (prayer), which took up exactly four minutes, the coffin was carried out into the courtyard of the palace by the generals and was placed onto a gun-carriage Â*

3 - VERSES WHERE MOHAMMED HIMSELF ADDRESSES Â*

In Islam, Quran is known as the speech of Allah. And Allah conveys his words to Mohammed by an angel called Archangel Gabriel, so that Mohammed makes verse clerks write “god” revelations.

When Quran is examined throughout, the personal pronouns “me” or “we” stand out as the form of address. However if Quran is god’s speech, then only the pronoun “me” should have been used. As an example, sentences should be constructed as “I …did” instead of “We …did”. Using the pronoun “us” creates suspicions about god’s uniqueness, strength, and omnipotence. Because, however emphasized that the usage of first person plural is attributed not only to god, but it is also inclusive of the angels, the questions such as “Wouldn’t god succeed without the help of his angels?” or “Why is he in need of angels?”are either without reply or left to his predestination as happens in so many cases.

Actually our main goal in this article is much more thought provoking than what we say above: The verses directly come out from Mohammed’s mouth, himself!

Consider sura Hud (number 11), verse 2 :
“Ye should worship none but Allah. Truly I am sent unto you from Him to warn and to bring glad tiding” Â*

It is readily observed that this is Mohammed speaking in the verse. He blundered and made the verse written from his own mouth. Some interpretators (into Turkish) of Quran realizing this blunder tried to conceal it adding the word “say” in paranthesis which in fact did not exist in the verse originally. In a translation of Quran also available in our site (pasted from an Islamic site) the translation is like this: Â*

(Say : this book was revealed) that ye should worship none but Allah. Verily I am (sent) unto you from Him to warn and to bring glad tidings. Â*

The words written in paranthesis in Quran translations are meant that “They do not exist in the original Quran but added later here for you to understand it in a better way”. In fact in the above translation of the said verse, the distortion was tried to be covered by means of such an addition as (say:).

The Sura Al-Fatiha which has only seven verses is in the same nature:

1. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
2. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
3. Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
4. Master of the Day of Judgment.
5. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
6. Show us the straight way,
7. The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

Again it is very obvious that these verses are not Allah’s speech. Allah doesn’t even mention in the verse that he should be prayed in this or that way. It is surely a human speaking in this sura, so a blunder in address again and another point in the naked.

A similar case can also be seen in Sura Az-Zahriyat’s 50th and 51th verses:
Â*
50. Therefore flee unto Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open!
51. And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open

It is easily understood that it is Mohammed himself speaking in the Quran verses, not Allah.

So, weren’t there anybody in that period noticing these points? Why did they believe in Mohammed? Â*

First, at those times literacy was so low that very few people could have detected these verses. Then, those who talked about these distortions were treated inferior, accused with infidelity, hypocrisy and blasphemy. Even people like poet Ka’b Bin Eshraf paid it with his life to criticize Mohammed. So it was a hard time to speak of truth. Thirdly, those opponents with strong social background were kept quite by bribes in the name of “warming hearts for Islam” (see “Those who became Muslims through bribing”, an article by Turan Dursun) Â*

4 - BANU QURAYZAH JEWISH MASSACRE

The battle of Al-Khandaq was over, polytheists went back, Mohammed came home to rest. Just at that time Archangel Gabriel came next to Muhammed in sweat and dust, riding on a mule, armed with his sword and said “Look, we angels have been fighting against your enemies for the last 40 days, and haven’t left our swords yet. Get up, you all go to the land of the Beni Qurayzah Jews and kill them; and I will go before you and wreck their houses” (from Tecrid-i sarih, translation by the Presidency of Religion Affairs, No: 512, 1191, 1565) Â*

Following those words of Gabriel, Mohammed instructs Muslims as “We will perform the afternoon prayer in Banu Qurayzah, come along to war!” (People from Qurayzah had supported the Meccans in the battle of Al-Khandaq). That day, till the evening, they caught a mass of 1500 Jews including children and women (some alive, some dead) and tied their hands to their necks. Mohammed authorized Sad Bid Muaz, who turned into Islam from Judaism, about their destiny. Sad Bid Muaz has had a cut vein in Battle of Al-Khandaq and he was still bleeding. Instructed by Muhammed, Sad was taken on a donkey and brought to his presence. Mohammed asked him “I want you to make the decision about the destiny of these people. What do you think of them?” What Sad exactly says is “We will put to the sword all men who can lift a sword. Women and young girls will be taken as concubines and those adolescent males and boys as slaves.” Mohammed replies “Your decision exactly suits with the instructions of Allah and you just hit the mark. As a matter of fact Gebrail brought me a revelation from Allah in the same direction at daybreake” (Tecrid-i sarih, translation by the Presidency of Religion Affairs , No: 289. Hadiths number 1575 and 1579 with commentaries) Â*

The male captives of this group were gathered in “Usame Bin Zeyd”s house and the women-children captives in “Remle Binti Haris”s house. After Mohammed’s order of execution, ditches were dug to serve as graves in a part of Medina where there is a bazaar now. Then hands tied, all Jewish men were brought next to the ditches and their heads cut off, thrown into the ditches with their bodies. Mohammed commissioned Ali and Zubeyr bin Avam for this slaughter. It is well known that these two were given the good news of getting to the paradise by Mohammed. While Ali and Zubeyr were on the work, Mohammed was seated watching them. As Aisha reveals, the slaughter was carried on, all day long until the sunset. And while the execution took place, Jewish women and children had been watching in blood and tears kicking their heads, tearing out their hair in despair. (Vakidi, Megazi, 1/512-517) Â*

Earlier Mohammed, as if showing some important pride, tragi-comicly had said “My friends, we had beter delay the execution since it is too hot now. Also check if they would like to eat dates and feed them”. And dates were thrown to them as if animals were fed. (Vakidi, Megazi, 2/512-14; Serahsi, Siyeri Kebir Serhi, 3/1029 No: 1900) Â*
Â*
Widespread belief about the number executed, changes between 800 to 900. (Nesefi, Taberi, Alusi, Ibni Kesir).The lowest figure given by Islamic writers (Begavi, Suyuti, Ibn’il Cevzi) is 400 – 600 executions.

After their submission, Mohammed gathers those people, and insults: “You brothers of pigs and monkeys! Here its your destiny, face it” . And they replied as “Mohammed, we wouldn’t have expected you to behave like this. Why are you so unjust?” (This part may be found in many Islamic sources for example the Taberi and Ahzap Commentaries, verses 26-27). (The strongest criticism on the executions comes from the fact that there were no trials prior to the execution. Were all the individuals of Banu Qurayzah tribe guilty? Weren’t there any innocents? Why were they all together executed without any distinction? Is it a right act to execute prisoners of war?) Â*

Mohammed spared 16 of the Jewish wives and daughters specially and picked Reyhane for himself, gave other 15 to his important friends. A Jew says “You seized everything we got, at least don’t lay your hands upon our honour in front of us”. But Mohammed doesn’t listen to him. (Source: Vakidi, Megazi, 2/250) Â*

Mohammed delivered those women and children not needed to Sad bin Zeyd to sell them in bazaars in Najd and Damascus. Mohammed bin Mesmele (one of the Muslims) tells: Â*
“While sharing women from Banu Qurayzah war, I happened to have 3 women and I sold them all”. (Source: Diyarbekiri, History of Hamis, 1/499 and Vakidi 2/523-25) Â*

Answers to the questions and explanations about the subject matter from Muslims

Muslims: The Jewish had made an agreement with Mohammed about co-defencing Medina. However, they betrayed this agreement in the battle of Al-Khandaq. Â*

Answer: Such an agreement in the early period of Mohammed’s emigration from Medina exists in the historical records. However, this was a time when the Muslims were in the minority in Mecca and being sufferers, they seemed in need of such an emigration to Medina. Then, they haven’t armed and started guerilla warfare yet. The agreement has been done under those conditions, but after a short while, Muslims started their guerilla attacks and consequently plunders; they tried to attack trading convoys in Mecca. With Baht-i Nahle incident, Muslims, for the first time, attacked 4 unarmed Mecca polytheists, killed 2 and held 1 captive for whom they asked for a ransom. This behaviour by the Muslims caused consideration and reaction in the Jewish society. Â*

It will be useful to take a glance at what happened between Muslims and Jews before the Qaynuqa event. There were 3 Jewish tribes when Muslims emigrated to Medina; namely Banu Nadir, Banu Quaynuqa and Banu Qurayzah. A tribesman from Banu Quaynuqa is killed by a Muslim, and Jews kill the Muslim murderer in turn. And using it as a pretext, Mohammed puts Banu Quaynuqa tribe under siege. Jews do not exhibit any armed resistance. After a while, they inevitably submit to Muslims and Mohammed throws away the tribe from thier home, seizing all their real estate and some of their properties. He also takes over the Banu Nadir tribe by likewise nonsensical pretexts.

Thus, Mohammed had already got over with 2 of the 3 Jewish tribes in Medina before the Qurayzah event. (The tragi-comic part of the matter is that Mohammed had emigrated to and hah been staying as a guest in Medina when he kicked out these tribes, the real owners of Medina. Following these events, Medina Agreement had no validity anymore.

Mohammed put considerable pressure on the Jews to turn into Islam. But when he could not succeed on this, he changed the prayer direction from Jerusalem to Mecca since Jarusalem was the Jewish sacred city. Obviously the agreement between Muslims and Jews of Medina had been removed de facto. The relationship between guest Muslims and Jews had been tense. Jews didin’t like Muslims anymore and felt enmity against them; their peace of mind ended by the Muslims’ arrival. Â*

For all these reasons, Medinese Jews sided with the Meccans in the battle of Al-Khandaq.

Muslims: Decision to execute Jewish males was accordingly with the Pentateuch. Â*

Answer: This is an assertion by some Muslims who felt remorse by the massacre so as to put the blame on the Pentateuch. Mohammed asked about the destiny of the Jewish captives to Sad Bin Muaz, deemed to be his right arm, who had been Jewish turned into Islam. This is so called to imply that the decision by Sad, an old Jewish believer, is according to the Pentateuch laws. However, there is no Islamic document that reveals Mohammed requesting Sad to judge according to the Pentateuch and neither Sad stated that his decision rests upon Pantateuch. Â*
Moreover, Jews considered themselves right in supporting the polytheists. Consequently it would be illogical to make use of Pentateuch law against them while they thought they were right.
As a further remark, after the decision by Sad Bin Muaz, Mohammed said: Â*
“Long live! Allah’s decision was in the same direction as yours” and told that he new about it beforehand due to revelation he received from god. Therefore the decision belongs to “God” of Islam. Â*

Muslims: What would be done with Jewish males instead of executing them? Since there were no captive camps at the time, would they be fed instead of being killed? If they were set free, then they would have been sided with the polytheists again. Â*

Answer: Aren’t these assertions, actually a defense mechanism to avoid the guilt, as if there were no other options? Because adult males could be sold in the famous slave bazaar of Damascus just like women and children were sold; or some could be given to Muslim families as slaves. (With this we do not mean to tolerate slavery, but just to show that there were other choices than killing them). So Mohammed had other options but he didn’t want them, instead he preferred to behave in revenge like any other king or commander at the time, and surely not like a prophet of “god”.

6 - AL-ILAH (ALLAH) BELIEF IN PRE-ISLAMIC ARABIA Â*

During the pre-Islamic period, Arabs used to believe in Moon God as the highest and most powerful idol along the 360 idols in Kaaba, calling him Al-ilah (means most powerful god) and praying for him by opening their hands on both sides. Following sculpture pictures at British Museum Babylon Section Part B in England are important discoveries showing this belief of Arab pagans. Â*

Word “Ilah” (god) in Arabic was converted to “Allah” with Islam. (Southern Arabia, Carleton S. Coon, Washington, D.C. Smithsonian, 1944, p.399) Moon god Al-ilah was accepted as male and was married to female sun goddess. He had three daughters, their names were Al-Lat, Al-Uzzat and Al-Menat: Â*

The photograph above is from British Museum and summarizing pre-Islamic Arab beliefs very well. On the left, there are the Lat, Uzza and Menat, the male figure on the right is Allah. Mohammed had made a blunder by praising Lat, Uzza and Menat (which is known as the famous satanic verses case) but later on he regretted it and declared Satan made him say those words. Â*

Many Arab tribes, in fact, had given this moon god different names such as Sin, Hubal and Al-ilah. Linguists say the word “Allah” is reproduced from “Al-ilah”. (Islam Muhammed and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 85, Muhammad at Mecca, W. Montgomery Watt, 1953, p 23-29) Â*

The name of Mohammed’s father Abdullah means “Slave of Allah”. (abd=slave, ullah=allah) Â*

Mohammed had selected the most powerful moon god along the 360 totems in Kaaba and told everybody its uniqueness. “There is no god but only Al-ilah.” (The hajj, F. E. Peters, p 3-41, 1994) Mohammed declared Al-ilah as the only god and prohibited other idols. Â*

Arab pagans (polytheists) had had interesting rituals in pre-Islamic period. They used to fast in the month called Ramadan, go to Mekkah for Hadj and turn around Kaaba seven times, worship the “Black Stone” (Hajar-ul-Aswad) and kiss it, pray four or five times a day and throw stones to Satan. ( Is Allah the Same God as The God of Bible?, M. J. Afshari, p 6, 8-9, İslam, Beliefs And Observances, Caesar E. Farah) Â*

Above is shown a Muslim kissing the Hajar-ul-Aswad placed in a corner of Kaaba. Pre-Islamic Arab pagans had this same belief. Mohammed kissed this stone and carried out this idolater belief into Islam. It is known that the Caliph Omar had told about Hajar-ul-Aswad, “I would never have kissed you if I hadn’t seen Rasullullah (prophet) kissing you”. It is unkown when, where or how this black stone (a meteorite) was brought into presence, but only some tales are told about it, however, no conformities among Islamic writers on those tales. Â*

Arab polytheists did also have the ablution (ritual of washing body parts before prayer) tradition same as today’s Islamic world. They used to snuff water, wash their hands up to elbows, as traditions of ancient pagan Arab world. Those traditions are absent in Jewish and Christian cultures. As well known, fasting is also present in Christian culture but “fasting in a specific month” was again an old tradition of Arab pagans. Â*

Besides, according to evidences, Kaaba was not built by the prophet Abraham, it is estimated to be built in the 8th century BC. From that date on, Kaaba was called by pagans as “Al-ilah’s house”. (A Guide to the contents of Quran Faruq Sherif, Reading, 1995, pgs. 21-22., Muslim). Â*

Today, howsoever the Muslims claim that Islam used to exist before Mohammed and so it is normal to observe some of the Islamic beliefs, also in old pagan societies; there is no historical document and any evidence to support their claim but Quran. Â*

7- MOHAMMED AND CIRCUMCISION Â*

The widespread belief among Muslims is that Mohammed was born innately circumcised since there is no reliable source about his circumcision either on his childhood or on the period after his claim of prophesy (this period is very well-known). Â*

Scientifically, it is impossible to have Mohammed borne innately circumcised, because there is nothing about "inborn circumcision" in medicine. Up to now there hasn't been an instance of such an happening. However, there is a penis anomaly which is named hypospadias.The appearance of that anomaly make it seem like circumcised penis but actually it is a medical ailment. If Mohammed was born truly circumcised and not born with hypospadias, then that needed to have been seen as a great miracle during his infancy in Mecca. But there is no historical record of such a miraculous happening. Thus it can only be at most hypospadias so that the infant was assumed as normal and did not require a special care. If Mohammed had been born miraculously circumcised, certainly he would have had apostles surrouding him from the very beginning of his infancy. Â*

Turkish Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery Association, reveals the following information about hypospadias : Â*

“What is hypospadias? Â*

It is a birth defect seen in newborn male children. Urinary meatus (urethra) in a normal penis ends at the tip of the glans and children urinate from the tip of penis. Â*

But in boys with hypospadias, Urinary meatus (urethra) ends at the lower surface of the penis and more backwardly positioned. Urinary channel has not been formed between this opening and the tip of the penis. Â*

The openning point of urinary meatus may be even more backwardly positioned than testicles and the more the backwardness, the more problematic it is. But in the majority, they are nearer to the tip of penis.

What are the symptoms?

1) Urinary meatus' being undersurface of penis and more to the backward.

2) Flattening of glands

3) The prepucium's not being at the lower surface of the penis head. (inborn half cicumcised) Â*

4) Downward bend of the penis during an erection.

5) Inability of children with hypospadias to urinate across, on the contrary, urinating downwards in the direction of their feet. This situation causes compulsory urination while sitting (instead of urinating standing)

6) Sexual functional defects may arise If those, whose urinary meatus openness are very backward, are not operated till adult ages.

9 - ORIGINAL COPIES of QURAN DO NOT EXIST

First original copy of the Quran: Â*
Written on different things like skins, wood barks, small stones, bones etc. They have all been burnt. Â*

Second original copy of the Quran : Â*
Codification of Quran during the reign of Abu Bakr. It has been burnt .

Third original copy of the Quran: Â*
Manuscripts produced during the reign of Utman. Found nowhere in the world. Â*

According to investigations and narrations, it was observed that the Quran at hand is neither the ‘’same’’ nor the ‘’complete’’ one with respect to the Quran which had been dictated by Mohammed to ''clerks of revelation''. Caliph Marwan explains his own justification as the following: “Those written in it had been transferred into moshaf (codex) dictated by Uthman. There is no need for it any more. If it weren’t burned and destroyed, it would have created suspicions with time and it wouldn’t have prevented such suspicions about the latter mushafs written by transferring from it. I was afraid of this, and that’s why I had it burnt."(Sources: ıb Ebi Davud, Leiden 1937, yay., pp.243-Suphi e's-Salih Mebahis Fi ulum-il Kuran).

How the Quran was codified Â*
Quran verses had not been collected together as they are today. According to Hadiths (sayings of Mohammed), verses revealed to Mohammad had been written on different objects, all spread around, unorganized. The verses had been written on ‘’Lihaf’’(Small stones), ‘’Rika’’(animal skin, palm risps, a kind of paper), ‘’Ektaf’’(camel and sheep bones),’’Usub’’ (pieces of wood). For the first time, during the reign of caliph Abu Bakr, the need to get all the verses together were considered and then efforts realised. A source reveals that all the written verses had been found spread around in the prophet’s house, and they were put together and in order not to get loose, tied by a rope in case some of them may be lost. Â*
According to an hadith told by Bukhari, it was a warlike time of apostasy (Al-Riddah – rejection of Islam for another one) after the death of Mohammed and some of the Qurra (those who know the Quran by heart) were dead and more casualties among the Qurra was a possibility. It was necessary to get together the written verses here and there to form a single book before those who knew Quran by heart all die. The son of Khattab Umar told Ebu Bakr the situation and the importance of the subject suggesting to collect all the written verses. At the beginning Caliph didn’t like the idea. He had been thinking how correct it would be to do something the prophet hadn’ done. Umar kept on pressing and made him accept his suggestion. Zaid ibn Thabit was commissioned for the purpose and although he found it very hard (Zaid informed that, it would have been easier to carry a mountain from the mountains, not a difficult task as the order he had received). He tells how he fulfilled the order:
“I started collecting the Quran verses and collected them from date leaves, small stones and also followed them from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last part of the Tauba (Repentance) surah from Abu Khuzaimah al-Ansari” (the last verses 128. and 129). In this way Zaid made use of the two sources of the verses, objects he verses written on (woods, stones…) and memories of the people who knew Quran by heart. Â*

Number of people who knew Quran by heart (Qurra) during Ebu Bakr reign are controversial among Muslims. According to the three hadiths of that period as mentioned in the "e's-Sahihi" of Bukhari, number of those who memorized the Quran might be 7, the most optimistic count acceptable. The number was less than that during Mohammed’s period. A Hadith from Bukhari’s book (e's-Sahihi) is as the following : I heard the Prophet saying, “Take the Quran from this 4 persons, Abdullah bin Masud, Salim, Muadh bin Jabal and Ubai bin Ka'b". (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 61, Number 521)
Another hadith, Anas narrates: ‘’When Mohammed died; there were none but these 4 men learnt Quran by heart: Muadh Bin Jabal, Ubayy Bin Kab, Zaid ibn Thabit, Abu Zaid. (Sahih Muslim, Number 6029)

A third hadith, narration from Katede: I asked Malik’s son Anas, ‘’Who were those during Mohammed’s time that completely memorized Quran?’’ He answers: 'Four persons. All are Medinese. Ubayy Bin Kab, Muadh Bin Jabal, Zaid ibn Thabit and Ebu Zayd (Bukhari, same chapter, Muslim 24-5. Hadith.) Â*

When these are added together, total number comes out as 7. Zaid ibn Thabit, laid down the condition that any piece of verse to be added to Quran, testimony by two witnesses would be required. However, there were instances he had to be contented with only one.(For example, the two verses of the Surah Tauba, found by Uba Huzaim). Â*
Â*
Collecting and writing the verses takes a year. Beginning the work, Umar and Zaid requested that everybody should bring whatever they had obtained from Mohammed as verses. Resources describe the codex achieved as a book with two covers in between the leaves (pages) on which verses of Quran written. These pages were in the possession of Abu Bakr until his death; then Umar had them in his life-time; and after that they remained under Umar’s daughter, Hafsah’s posession. Â*
Â*
Quran codified second time Â*

One of the hadiths as told in the Bukhari is as the following: Â*
While Muslims had been fighting to conquer Armenia and Azerbaijan, Hudhaifa comes to caliph Uthman and complains about the inconsistencies within the Quran books Muslims read. He says "O chief of the believers! This community has fallen into the same incoherencies as their precedents, Jews and Christians, had done". So Uthman sent a message to Hafsa requesting the manuscript volume of the Quran so that he could have them copied. When the codex came, Uthman ordered Zaid ibn Thabit, that Abdullah bin Az-Zubair, Said bin Al-As and AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham rewrite the manuscripts in copies. Uthman later told the committee of three, "In case you disagree with Zaid ibn Thabit on any point in the Quran, then write it in the dialect of Quraish as the Quran was revealed in their tongue." They did as instructed. When they had written sufficiently many copies, Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. Then Uthman sent every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, ordering preceding copies should be burnt. (Buhari, e's- Sahih, Kitabu Fedaili'l-Quran/3.)

From the efforts told Bukhari and the type of solution of the strife that might arise between the Quraish and non-Quraish, to copy the exact manuscript was not a subject-matter in producing the copies. While asserting that the copies were exact, the question of “different” copies have been tried to justified by the presence of different dialects. However, this justification does not sound very persuasive since at that time the Arabic writing did not have the necessary means of punctuation enabling to write and reflect the same words to be read alternately for the same text; then the letters were without dots. (Dr. Suphi e’s-Salih, Mehabis Fi-Ulum’il-Quran, Beirut 1979). In short, even if such a text to cover the dialectic differences of the Abu Bakr period manuscript was considered, it would have been impossible to produce it. What then, were the differences between the codex produced during Abu Bakr period and those copies produced by the Uthman writers? What did the new work achieve? In the above hadith this point was not explained, but in an explanation that might be considered as a continuation of the hadith, it was implied that it had not been a simple transfer of a basic document to copies. Zait ibn Thabit, a member of the committee, tells that he lost a verse (fakhattu) at the end of the Ahzab surah, but he knew it since he had heard and witnessed the prophet read it as a piece of Quran. They searched for it and found it from Huzaim al-Ensari and added to that copy. (Itqan, Egypt 1979, Vol1, pp79)

The reason behind the burning of the first codex:
The codex had been hidden in her box and protected by Hafsa until her death. When she died, there were no more protectors, although the god of Quran says “We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).(Surah Al-Hijr, verse 9). But, caliph Marwan Ibn Hakam fetched and burnt it. Marwan explains his own justification for burning the codex as the following: “Those written in it had been transferred into official (Imam) moshaf and protected. I was afraid that the suspicious minded will be questioning this (official) codex after so much time has passed by”.

On the contrary, what led to suspicions had been the burning of the first codex which had been called to be the basic one from which the copies were made. If there weren’t any differences between the two, would it be the way to burn it? Were it not either for any additions or take outs that is not in accordance with the first codex? If not, why the fear? The Quran in the Mohammed period and today’s Quran are not the same. Let us refer to an important testimony, Abdullah Ibn Umar (son of Caliph Umar) tells:
”None of you should say that ‘I have the complete Quran in my hands’. He wouldn’t have known, most of it has been destroyed and gone. Instead you should say ‘I have what has been left of it in my hands’. (Imam Al-Suyuti, Al-Itqan 2/32)
Doesn’t this testimony openly relate that today’s Quran and the one Muhammed dictated to the “revelation clerks” are not the same at all? Moreover, Abdullah Ibn Umar told the above, after the codification of Uthman period. Then there is no original of the codex made in the Uthman period. Such a hand-written manuscript doesn’t exist anywhere in the world. Â*

There are many other mushafs (codex) with differing contents that are mentioned in basic sources but none to be found anywhere. Examples of those lost famous ones are owned by Ali (Mohammed’s Cousin) Aisha (Mohammed’s wife), Abdullah bin Masud and Ubay bin Ka’b (Mohammed’s Qurra – revelation clerks). Ther are others to be found (but not found) in India, Basrah, Damascus, Kufa, Yemen, Bahrain (some of them sent by Uthman) and it is well known that their copies were made. It is interesting that although existence of such mushaft are told and none are found, their list of contents are known. Thus, for eaxample, Abdullah bin Masud mushaf does not have the suras Al-Fatiha, An-Nas and Al-Falaq. The one said to be Ali had gotten, is not in the same order. Suyuti tells that the Al-Baqarah and Al-Ahzab suras are of the same length, but the precedent has 286 and the latter has only 73 verses. Â*

The lie that not even a letter of Quran has not been changed
In the above argument it has been very openly shown that there have been many different Qurans since the time of Mohammed. Therefore the assertion that the Quran did not change, is not an easy one to defend. Â*

Although the matter somewhat touched above, other than the deliberate changes made to Quran and also those made by chance, some changes did occur due to the very hard punctuation of the Arabic writing. In Arabic writing, any letter changes with the inclusion of dots of upper or lower cases, or the dot may be on the right or left side of a letter. The same holds with dashes too. Therefore people usually read some of the words other than they have been intended to and therefore with different meaning. There are many examples on such variation that need not be mentioned here. Such points are the inevitable, irresistible, unopposed antithesis of unchanged Quran.

11- IS KAABA A SAFE PLACE?

Kaaba, also called as Beytullah (the ‘House of God) has been constructed in a low-level region surrounded by mountains. Therefore Kaaba was demolished and drown under water many times by the floods streaming down from the surrounding uphills. Â*

It is also known that Kaaba was destroyed in wars by weapons like catapults and damaged many times by earthquakes.

If Kaaba had been an ordinary construction, all of these might have been acceptable. But Kaaba is “The House of God” in Islamic belief and protected by Allah. This situation can especially be observed checking the “Al-i Imran” and the “Fil” suras. The “Al-i Imran” sura verse 97:

“In it are Signs Manifest, the station of Abraham; whoever enters it, attains security …”.

Obviously Quran describes Kaaba as a safe place. As a matter of fact the tale of the mountain swiflets in the “Fil” sura supports this idea. On the contrary, the history of the Kaaba tells just the opposite.

At the time the Umayyadian army under the command of Hajjaj besieged Mecca, caliph Abdullah bin Zubeyr enters Kaaba as his last hope. It is not difficult to guess the effect of his belief to the”Al-i Imran” sura on his taking refuge in Kaaba. But then Kaaba was attacked by catapults and fully demolished with the caliph killed in it. Thus the claim in the sura is unverified.

To cover the invalidation of the 97th verse of the “Al-i Imran” sura, some Islamic writers try to distort the meaning of the word ‘security’ and claim that what is meant in essence is ‘peace of mind’. However in nearly all interpretations literally security is meant.

13 – The SOURCE of the BELIEF on the Al-SIRAT BRIDGE is ZOROASTERIANISM

Zoroasterianism is the religion of Iran before Islam. Zoroaster is in fact the name of the prophet in this religion. Although there is no compliance by the historans as to when he lived, it is considered to be the 7th century BC. God is called ‘Ahura Mazda’, therefore, sometimes the religion is called ‘Mazdaism’. Arabs called Ahura Mazda as ‘Hormuz’. According to Avesta, the sacred book of Â*Zoroasterianism, men resurrect and and are divided into two ranks after their deaths. All men should cross over the Cinvad bridge in order to reach heaven. For those evil, it is like the sharp side of a sword; and for those good, it widens. Zoroaster watches the passage and begs intercession from Ahura Mazda as his believers cross the bridge.

Yolculuğa çıkmadan biraz daha çevirdim....

Kur'an'ın bir harfinin bile değişmediği" yalanından itibaren. (En son bölümde)

The lie of ‘’even a letter of Quran hasn’t changed.

Hammad bin Zeberkan read the word of ‘’iyyahu’’, in the Surah of Tauba, verses 114, as ‘’ebahu’’. He was also reading the word ‘’izzettin’’ in the surah Sad, verse 2, as ‘’hirattin’’. Here, these changes are letter modifications. In first example the letter ‘’ya’’ has chanced as ‘’ba’’, in second example changed from ‘’ayin’’ to ‘’hayin’’. Okay lets say, we don’t care this kind of letters changes.

Abdullah bin Abbas would prefer to use synonyms "muradifs" instead of original words of Quran. In Surah Muezzemmil, verse 6, Also Anas bin Malik had used the word ’’asvabu’’ *instead of ‘’akvamu’’. Bin Umar *used in the Surah Cum’a, verse 10, word of "femzu" *instead of "fes'av", Bin Abbas, Surah Karia, verse 5, *used ‘’k'essav’’ instead word of *"kel'ih’’. Again Bin Abbas preferred "zeyfeten’’ instead "sayhaten" in the sentence of "sayhaten vahideten". Anas bin Malik read as ‘’halelna’’ instead of ‘’yada’ in the Surah Inshirah, verse 2. We see here changing of word, not only changing of letter. It means, allegation of even a letter hasn’t changed since Mohammed is not true.

Resources stand on several Moshafs. According to examples of narrations, *in some Moshafs doesn’t support today ‘’official Quran’’. Beside, This expression of Bin Umar is very interesting: No body says from you that you keep whole Quran in your hand. Who says this? *Does he know, how was the whole Quran and how much? For sure, majority of Quran had been lost.( Suyuti, el İtkan, 2/32))

Original first copy of Quran and also second had been burn by Moslems. Doubtless, it’s because of to cover realities. Even the original copies printed and dealed to specific places during Uthman reign, we cannot find them anywhere in the world. *

WELCOME to the TURAN DURSUN SITE VOICE of FREEDOM from RELIGIONS

Dear guests;

In this site you will find the views as presented by Turkish atheists, agnostics and pantheists, about the religion in general, but especially the effects of Islam to our society.

We, as the members of the Turan Dursun website, committed ourselves to explain the reality and the truth about the facts of life, to our fellow brothers and sisters, who are under the influence of the religious dogmatism.

Our goal is to break the invisible chain, which has been placed around our neck by teachings of various religions, to explain the benefits of free thinking, despite the fear created by the few beneficiaries.

Obviously a more beautiful world cannot be realized without a world with more freedom. In order to set up a world with more freedom, taboos should be demolished; taboos of all kinds and at first those arising out of faith.

We have dedicated this site to Mr. Turan Dursun, a researcher of great insight, a hard-worker, a brave man of principles… in short an intellectual with many virtues. We hope you enjoy our site and leave you together with Mr. Turan Dursun:

“All kinds of chains which tie freedom should be broken; in the first place the “chain of faith” in minds. *Thought bound with chain of faith is fixed, unchanged. This is in contradiction with the changeable structure of the nature. Chained mind will not reveal any progress, will not fit in with changes, developments. All kinds of positive growth in our world could have been realized to the extent possible that it could break free the chain of taboos with faith ranking in the first place. Points achieved in human mind, science, technology, human rights are the products in this attitude.

Mind and science are in the bright side. Religion and faith are on the dark side. The measures of mind and science are known; observation, experimentation, objectivity … These throw light on the road. Then, how to go onto religion, is in full sight and awfully open. Religion, should be dealt with in the same way as darkness. Light is needed to fight darkness. When you go onto religion and faith …”

In this way starts Turan Dursun, in the introduction to his first book; just three months before he was shot to death 7 times on his back. He knew very well that he would be killed, but he had said: “Should I fetch the truth to the grave in order to live at my ease or should I risk death in order to tell the truth to people?”. As an intellectual and courageous man, he selected the second one.

REASONS of the BATTLE of BADR

Battle of Badr, the first battle between the Muslims and the Meccan polytheists, started with the Â*set out of a 300 troops of Muslims from Medina to loot a Meccan trade caravan in return from Damascus. Hearing the news, Meccans also prepared some troops to protect their caravan. The two sides met and fought in Badr region between Mecca and Medina where Muslims won the battle. Approximately 70 Meccan polytheists were killed in the battle and their bodies were thrown into a nearby well packed like sardines by Mohammed’s order. Can this disrespect to bodies be a prophet’s conduct? We do not think so.

The reason behind this battle according to Muslims is the plundering by Meccans the properties of 80 to 100 Muslims who had emigrated from Mecca. However this justification is not acceptable due to below mentioned reasons:

1 – As particularly marked by Islamic sources, Muslims emigrated from Mecca were poor. Â*None of them had any property other than Abu Bakr. Therefore any important Muslim property to be plundered in Mecca cannot be mentioned.

2 – All the Meccan population cannot be held responsible for plundering the Muslim properties. According to any just law principle, only those involved in the plunder should have been punished. However the wish to plunder the Meccan trade caravan is clearly an indication that Mohammed does not show any distinction for the innocent.

3 – To make injustice to an injustice cannot be a prophet quality. Even if an injustice in Mecca had been presumed, this would not have justified Mohammed to make a similar injustice, aggression.

For the above mentioned reasons, the pretexts given by the Islamic in order to cover the origin of aggression by Muslims are not realistic. Â*The real cause is the financial difficulties of those emigrants from Mecca to Medina. However the Muslims in Medina helped them somewhat, it was not sufficient for Mohammed to attain his purpose, just enough to be fed. Those were hard times in Medina, without sufficient land, with most of the Muslims already poor. Furthermore it would take them longer to earn their living through agriculture and cattle-breeding. Whereas plundering caravans with sheer force, attacking neighboring tribes with the excuse of their denial to turn into Islam were easier and shorter ways of gaining slaves, land and property. Mohammed had been considerably successful in this respect.

CHANGES in the DIRECTION to FACE (QIBLA) WHEN PRAYING

Muslims used to pray their faces turned in the direction of Kaaba during the 1st Mecca period. However, the direction to face was changed to Jerusalem during the 1st phases of the Medina period. Jerusalem, as well known, is the Hebraic sacred city. Then, it was changed back to Kaaba again in nearly 17 months. Â*Why was it changed this or that side at all? In order to understand the changes, it is necessary to investigate the historical record of that period, Mohammed and the Quran.

Mohammed had been unsuccessful in the first Mecca period of nearly ten years and he flees to Medina to save his life; in order to become successful in this city, he wants to attract the Jews into his rank. Therefore he puts verses related to Moses into Quran and recognizes him as a prophet. The most important one is the change of direction to face Jerusalem in praying. However, Jews show no interest in Islam. They start to make fun of Mohammed covertly, let alone showing interest. Thereupon, Mohammed, realizing he cannot make Jews believe in him, irritated, changes the prayer direction to face Kaaba again instead of Jerusalem. There are some hints about this subject in the verse 145 of the Al- Baqarah sura:

“And even if you bring to those who have been given the Book every sign they would not follow your qibla, nor can you be a follower of their qibla, neither are they the followers of each other's qiblah, and if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, then you shall most surely be among the unjust..”

Verse 145 of the Al- Baqarah sura is, as observed, related to the change of direction to face in prayers. In the verse, the god of the Quran tells that
“ … they will not follow your qibla, you will not follow theirs…”
Here Mohammed gets irritated since they do not comply with him and changes the prayer direction. At once some questions comes to mind: If the Jews had complied with Mohammed, then would not the qibla be changed? Then, why qibla was towards Jerusalem for 17 months? Hadn’t god known that the Jews wouldn’t have complied? In the verse, a full fury and behind the scenes atmosphere rules:
“ … they will not follow your qibla, nor can you be a follower of their qibla …”
In the last part of the verse, Mohammed is so-called reminded by the god:
“ … if you follow their desires, you shall most surely be among the unjust”.
Mohammed’s aim to put this part, is to get rid of himself from the question “Why has qibla changed” by his surrounding Muslims. Obviously, he put it to be able to say that “God has reminded me in this way that the decision is definite”. This part of the matter is really interesting that god might be suspicious of his messenger and reminds him. Then god was suspicious of him and reminds him that if he complies with their desires (their qibla), he will be unjust. God wuoldn’t have reminded Muhammed if there was not a probability that he would be unjust (ignore) to god’s Â*orders.

Verse 142 of the Al-Baqarah starts with,
“The fools among the people will say: What has turned them from their qibla which they had? …”

Somehow the god for which Muslims attributed the adjectives “beneficent, merciful” starts this verse with a curse ! Muslim god curses Muslims who had right suspicions and questions to ask on the changer of prayer direction as “fools”.

Of course, in reality it is Mohammed who is in rage and curses. He had just transferred his disappointment of not being able to convert Jews to Islam. He couldn’t even endure the questions and criticism from his supporters.

A few sources for Mohammed’s change of qibla during an afternoon prayer, after 17 months of using Masjid al-Aqsa (Jerusalem) as qibla :
